TERMS

GENERAL
> My artwork is not for commercial use, modification, or reproduction. Please email any inquiries or concerns regarding this policy.
> Pieces requiring highly complex design work such as machinery, busy scenery, or intricate clothing, or orders that involve custom character or environment design work may incur additional work fees of up to $30.
> You may choose how clean you would like the color or linework to be, but I will not do paintings/realism, chibi styles, lineless work, or imitations of other artists' styles.
> I will not use other artists' work in my commission work for you, including bases, free lineart, and photography; all work you pay for will be wholly originally made by me. If you have original photos or art of your own you would like for me to use, you are welcome to ask about it when placing your order.
> My queue runs on a monthly schedule, meaning that I allot a work time of 30 days for every commission I receive. Most of my work will be completed well ahead of that deadline, but in the event that I am unable to deliver, you will be notified and offered a full or partial refund depending on how much of the work was completed. Refund requests outside of this will need to be discussed at length and may be denied.
> My work may be used by other artists you commission for purposes of reference only. If you would like to commission another artist to clean or color what I make for you, please get them in contact with me before you pay them via email.
> You are free to modify my work with filters, stickers, etc. as long as it is only for personal use. You may also print my work in any format for personal use only.
> I make art for tattoos under special order terms and case-by-case pricing, and do not permit my work to be used for tattoos without prior consultation.
> My work can be used on social media profiles, preferably either with credit or with the watermark visible.
> Do not remove my watermarks or ask that they be excluded. Doing so will prohibit you from purchasing further work from me.
> I only accept payment in USD through Square Invoices. Art trades or commissions for non-USD payment will happen strictly under my own choice, and not based on client interest or requests.
> Free work will only be given as gifts at my own discretion to friends and family, please do not ask unless I prompt you directly.
> Discounts are unavailable unless I specify it as a promotion. That said, I may be open to negotiating payment plans for special cases in the future; I am currently not.
> I do not currently animate any commission work, please do not ask.

PROCESS
> Send an email or discord DM to ursys#1571 detailing the piece you would like to order and describing and/or including a visual reference of the character(s) you want featured in your piece.
> I will respond with an explanation of pricing based on your description and ask you to confirm that you consent to pay the asking price, based on my pricing structure described on this carrd.
> Upon your confirmation, I will begin preliminary work. You do not pay at this point. You will receive thumbnail sketches (stick figures/mannequins) to determine posing and composition as needed; these are free.
> Once you have chosen a composition or pose, I will prompt you for payment via a Square invoice sent to your email. Work will be halted until at least partial payment ($20 minimum) has been made.
> After at least partial payment, work will continue. You will receive watermarked progress shots throughout my illustration process for your approval or any revisions you may want.
> Finished work will not be delivered until my work has been compensated in full. Once it has, I will email or link you all size variations of your commissioned piece, as described below. From here you are free to save and share your commissioned work with proper credit to this website as you like.

COLOR LEVELS
> Full color = fully illustrated with color, lighting/rendering, lineart modifications, and filtering. No limit on color range.
> Simple color = Fully rendered, but with a limited palette of up to 3 base colors.
> Flat = Fully colored with no rendering or filtering.
> Values only = Flat color style illustration with grayscale or only value variations of up to 2 colors. Up to one 'splash color' (small amount of high contrast color).
> Linework/sketch = No coloring and minimal rendering. Emphasis on linework, potentially with minor black placement or hatching. Up to one 'splash color' (small amount of color). Linework and sketch are not distinguished as I use a sketchy linework style.

BUSTS, HEADSHOTS, AND ICONS
> Maximum revisions: 2 per icon
> Maximum characters: 1 per icon
> Icon sets may contain up to 3 different characters per set.
> No ahegao or other suggestive expressions for icons.
> Icons may feature limbs or symbols instead of headshots.
> Busts are roughly from the bottom of the breast/pectoral muscle to the top of the head, but may be reduced to collarbone-up on request or as needed.
> Headshots will feature only the face.
> No other limitations on character angle. Poses can include both hands and/or a tail.
> Sizes delivered: 1000px, 500px

FULL BODY & WAIST UP PORTRAITS
> Maximum revisions: 4 per piece
> Maximum characters: 2 per piece
> Clothed or tasteful nudity only. Genitalia (not breasts) will always be obscured or otherwise not illustrated.
> No masturbatory or otherwise suggestive poses or expressions. Clean pinup poses are fine.
> No other limitations on character angle or pose.
> Sizes delivered: 2000px, 800px, 500px

BITS & BOBS -
> Emoji sets and floating heads must be of original characters only.
> Sketch pages will feature 3-5 explorative illustrations of your character in poses, expressions, etc. of my choice, usually in linework/sketch or simple color, based on your description of the character.
> Reference sheets and comic pages are on special order only. These pieces take considerable time, energy, and detailed work, and thus they are not on a deadline and must be ordered with partial advance compensation. These commissions will always be valued at at $100 minimum. Note that full body illustrations used as references do not qualify as reference sheets and therefore use full body & waist up pricing; reference sheets are an exhaustive visual illustration of a character's entire body and potentially their abilities and personality.
